About Us
TG Embroidery
Something about our journey and experience
Thornton Graphics was started in 1974 by Dennis and Rosemary Shaw, at this stage the business was a screen printing business primarily printing caps. The business evolved into a full-service screen printing company printing a wide array of products.
In 1999 Thornton Shaw joined the business and the first Happy embroidery machine was purchased, over the next 4 years 3 more embroidery machines were purchased, giving us the largest capacity in the Waikato, which is still the case. At this stage the name of the business was changed to TG Embroidery to align more with what we do.
2010 saw the retirement of Rosemary and Dennis from the business and with it we stopped all screen printing. Realising the potential gap in the market for quality heat set branding, a Roland plotter and quality press was purchased, and this allowed us to add this service for our clients. A laser engraver and cutter as well as most recently a digital printer allows us to be a full-service garment supply and branding company.
Researching and investing in world leading products has helped TG Embroidery maintain the quality of our products and services that we have been renowned for since 1974.
We’ve seen it all and been asked to do it all, we are happy to offer expert advice on your branding
